We are glad to announce that the winner of the PhotoBoox Award 2019 is Anna Maria Antoinette D’Addario with her dummy Farewell Angelina.
You can now order the book!
The jury was touched by the poetic way the artist worked on grief as a response to the tragic death of her sister. The awarded dummy acts as a catalyst in order to deal with loss and sadness.
Furthermore, the jury awarded Alessia Bressan‘s dummy 395 Notti and Giovanna Del Sarto's dummy A Polaroid for a Refugee with a Special Mention.
The other 4 shortlisted dummies are:
Güle Güle by Jean-Marc Caimi and Valentina Piccinni
Remember Europe by Patricia Morosan
The Djinni Diares by Btihal Remli
You don’t look Native to me by Maria Sturm
Congrats to the winner and all the authors of the shortlisted projects and thanks to all of you who sent a dummy! See you in Lucca in November and in Miami 2020 for the book launch of Farewell Angelina and the presentation of the other shortlisted dummies!
